Popis pozice:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementation and advanced technical support for applications, services, servers and storage
- Representing operations on systems and logical services mainly based on Solaris operating systems
- Working with UNIX-based systems
- Working closely with engineering teams, helping them to deploy future services for wireless data customers
- Performing final operations readiness assessment of new services and document results
- Application supporting for enterprise services
- Configuration and maintaining of fault management
- Network troubleshooting
- Working with external partners and vendors on new applications and existing services
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience in the systems/applications support area
- Knowledge of UNIX, PERL, Shell and or PHP, TCP/IP
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to an ever evolving network
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced understanding of internet services and principles (DNS, E-mail, HTTP)
- Experience with Internet application support
