Solution architect

Job description

For our important client with branch in Brno we are looking for candidate with combination of in-depth software & technical knowledge and good communication skill.

Key responsibilities:

·       Consultations with partners and end customers

·       Participation in technical meetings

·       Designing custom modifications and solution architecture

·       Proposing technical solutions to the customers

·       Writing design documents for R&D

·       Writing disaster & recovery plans, solution architecture etc.

Requirements

·       University graduate ideally in Computer Science (or IT)

·       Very good network architecture knowledge

·       Knowledge of programming languages, ideally Java

·       Good understanding of OOP principles

·       Programming experience with SQL

·       Ability to understand the customers’ needs

·       Willing to travel abroad on business (occasionally)

·       Very good analytical mind

·       Communicative, open-minded, friendly and a team player

·       Excellent English knowledge

Nice to have:

·       XML/XSD/XSL, web services, LDAP, cluster solutions

·       Knowledge of Windows and Linux servers

·       Experience with systems analysis and design

·       Experience with virtualization, esp. VMware

·       Orientation in server hardware

·       Fluency in German or another language
