Our Client

Our client is a global leader in data warehouse field.  The Global Consulting Centre in Prague is providing its consultants to the largest and most sophisticated data warehouse (DWH) projects across EMEA region as for example in Austria, Italy, Sweden, Russia, Czech Rep, etc.

We are looking for consultants performing various BI or ETL analyses; implementing database design & ETL solutions, developing SQL stored procedures, providing SQL tuning and optimization and creating of BI reports and services.

Key Responsibilities

§  Performing data warehouse ETL tasks for large projects (ETL development, stored procedures development, SQL optimization);

§  Building data warehouse (DWH) competency;

§  Deliver business and application specific consulting services included in the integrated Teradata solutions;

§  Support and monitor ETL jobs;

§  Supporting the pre-sale process as well as client communication;

Knowledge and Skills

§  Minimal 1 year of experience in DWH projects or in IT companies;

§  Good understanding of ETL concepts and DWH architecture;

§  SQL knowledge;

§  Experience with database systems such as Teradata, Oracle or MSSQL in similar position (stored procedures development, DDL scripts, DML scripts);

§  Willingness to travel and to relocate to Prague (Czech Rep.) ;

§  Advanced English;

§  EU Citizenship;

Advantages:

§  Proven record of participation on bigger DWH projects;

§  Knowledge of any ETL tool  (Informatica, Datastage or Ab-Initio);

§  Experience with Teradata Tools and Utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, BTEQ, FastExport);

§  Proficient in UNIX, Shell or Linux;

§  Knowledge of any other European language (eg. German, Italian, French or Russian);
